This is going to be painful… Isn't it? It is. I knew it.

History

Andrew Lee grew up in Washington, the son of a small town man. After graduating from college, he got a job in Los Angeles, California where he's become a very powerful advertising executive. Adrian Yule was a Malibu princess. The younest child of successful director Marcus Yule, she grew up in the lime light, wanting for nothing. When it came time for her to move out, it was only fitting that she found herself a job as model, culminating in her success as a Victoria Secret model. The two met through a mutual friend and, after a while, he began to court her. Shortly thereafter, they married and had their first child - a son named Fletcher.

A year and a half later, on December 13, 1990, Adrian gave birth to her second child, a daughter she named Lace Giselle Lee. Lace, or Lacie as she prefers to be called, was destined to follow in her mother's footsteps. Growing up as the daughter of such a power couple in Los Angeles meant that she could go anywhere, do anything, and have whatever she wanted. It also meant that no matter where she was, she was bound to have friends. She was, for all intensive purposes, living the good life.

There was just one problem… despite her optimistic attitude and well-meaning ways, Lacie has never had to work for anything in her life. As such, she's never really grasped the value of the dollar. If she wanted something and didn't have the cash, she'd charge it. Daddy would always pay the bill later. The problem with this plan is that, when your daddy grew up in a small town, eventually he breaks. After having a fight with her best friend at the time, Lacie decided to do some much needed shopping. This turned into a five thousand dollar credit card bill and /that/ lead to Andrew making a decision.

Lace was moving to Fork, Washington to live with her Aunt Shannon.

At first, Lacie thought of the move as something of a quaint little vacation. And then she arrived in town and realized this wasn't exactly going to be a walk in the park. Her aunt is a single woman with a nose-to-the-pavement work ethic. Oh, sure, she's as nice as the next person but she also has very little tolerance for Lacie's apparent disregard for authority and neon-skewed view of the world.

She's been in town for a little over six months, now, having moved up during the summer of 2006. During the brief overture before school started, Lacie rarely ventured off of her aunt's property and, as such, was still pretty much a novelty (or a freak depending on who you ask) by the time school rolled around. There was one person, though, to whom she did take quite a liking: Beverly McKinnon. She's also discovered that, when she's not being thought of as the daughter of the famous Andrew and Adrian Lee, it is much easier to tell how people really feel about her.

Being from the big city, she places what might be considered a disturbing amount of importance on certain aspects of small-town life, such as football games, horses, and ghost stories… probably due to her over-exposure to Hollywood. Stereotypes.

Personality

Lacie is a good person. Really she is. She's also very loud, a bit tactless, kinda spoiled, dresses well, and is… well… more than a little bit neurotic. She's got quite a skewed view of the world; as her aunt says, it seems to be view through 'neon-colored glasses'. It's a knock at her having be raised in the fast-pased uptown lifestyle that L.A. provided her. Of course, being a bit of a ditzy, Lacie has no idea that it's intended to be an insult. She's also a shopaholic. Given the chance, Lace would drop anything for a new outfit or accessory and, it's kinda how she ended up in this situation. As of right now, her father's got her on an allowance. Not that there is really much for her to blow several hundred dollars on in Fork, Washington. But that's beside the point.
