Shifters display the following weaknesses:
Strength in numbers - a single wolf acting alone cannot do much. The shifters rely heavily on teamwork.
Human characteristics - shifters are still very much alive. Their heart pumps, albeit at a faster rate. That being said, there are many ways a shifter can be harmed and killed, as opposed to vampires, which can only be completely killed by fire. However, shifters can heal a lot quicker than humans.
Animal instinct - shifters can become out of control easily and harm even people they love. A shifter must learn to control his or her animalistic characteristics.
Extreme loyalty - to the pack, most likely. This means s/he has to do whatever the alpha says. It could also be extreme loyalty to someone the werewolf imprints on, putting their safety above all others.
