Character Information

Claim to Fame

Best known for her time spent as a bass player for vampire rock band Crimson Delirium from about 2001-2006, Ramona has been featured in various tabloids before, though she's never been a household name. She's been hanging around the Forks area for nearly a year now, and rumor has it she's started a new band, and has switched her name to Vogel now. The supernaturals have her pegged as a regular trouble-maker, one that apparently has much more bark than bite.

Personality

Ramona is defined mostly by her need for attention – preferably, the adoring kind, but any kind of attention will do. Many issues in her life and unlife have made her this way: the need for attention as a child, her failed dream to sing, and the devastating abandonment she roughed right after she was turned. Fear of rejection and fear of fading into the background spurs most of her stunts.

That being said, she is often perceived as overdramatic and obnoxious. Silence is not her specialty; she speaks her mind and does not care whom she offends, which often gets her into trouble. Trouble, however, is something she goes looking for – it gets her attention. When she was in the band, she was a public relations nightmare, finding herself in tabloids for offensive quotes and dubious “relationships.”

She prefers extremes, especially when it comes to relationships. If it is apparent someone does not adore her, then they are an enemy – she does not hold neutral opinions. Her opinions are formed rashly and rarely change. She keeps few close allies, but that she does consider friends are treated a notch above the rest, as if they gained a special privilege.

Ramona is also extremely self-serving, which has made her into a particularly dangerous predator, and not always a very loyal ally. In the face of danger she WILL choose herself instead of somebody else. Other peoples’ feelings do not matter to her, human or vampire. She sometimes claims to have no feelings of her own, save for anger (which shows itself frequently) and hatred. Ramona tries to be a “hard” person. She doesn’t hug as a rule, and extends physical affection to very few, and when she does, mostly for her own pleasure or comfort.

Beneath her glamorous and “tough” persona, there is a desperation to Ramona. She needs to feel wanted, she needs to feel in control – it helps her to numb out very distant memories of her sister – her one living linkage to her past life, a life that she’d be extremely hard-pressed to admit she misses at times.

2008 Timeline

January

Ramona leaves for LA in a surprisingly quiet fashion.

2007 Timeline

January	The NYC coven breaks up when Ramona learns Lilly has been changed and is now Lev's responsibility. Ramona moves to Darcy's house.
February	Ramona gets the idea to form a band and coven of her own and gets to work.
March	Ramona learns a vampire was murdered in the forest. After learning from Lilly that Stasia was involved, she promptly tells Theresa, getting revenge after a skirmish her and Stasia had. Donny meets Ramona in the park and threatens to hurt her — he blames the break-up of the coven completely on her.
April	Ramona takes a vacation to LA for a few weeks to purchase new clothes, talk to her event, and become re-energized as a future band leader.
May	Natalia returns to town, much to Ramona's shock.
June	Things begin to go sour for her career. Her agent is demanding the release of a new record, but she doesn't have the band to do so. Ramona's close to leaving Forks, though she stays, intrigued by a human with interesting views on the human condition, Spencer.
July	Spencer manages to find out Ramona's not human. She takes him to Volterra to request permission to change him, which is granted. The Volturi show interest in recruiting Spencer for themselves, which pisses her off. After the ball, she moves to Port Angeles, where she and Spencer get into a bit of trouble by killing Forks residents. Luckily, they get off on a technicality.
August	Spencer moves out and moves back in a few times. She gets attacked by a bear shifter at some point.
September	Ramona gives up on her band and instead begins to dream of an acting career once more. Spencer becomes human again, by way of Rebecca, which causes lots of messed up circumstances.
October	Things go bad. Acting isn't panning out the way Ramona thought it might; she catches Spencer making out with some human girl in an alley and has to deal with his bratty sister.
November - December	As life begins to become markedly more…boring in Port Angeles and a war breaks out, Ramona begins to look for other options. She begins speaking with an agent out of LA and considers, once again, an acting career.

2006 Timeline

September	Moves to Forks with Lev, Virginia, and Donny. Makes an enemy of Lorelei.
October	Meets Darcy. They quickly become friends. On Halloween, the Krinovs attempt the kidnapping of a La Push resident, Thomas. The attempt fails.
November	Alanna, a newborn created by Anastasia, bothers Ramona and creates various problems. There's a bad storm and she gets trapped in a grocery store with a bunch of humans. Nothing happens.
December	Ramona begins to look for a more permanent residence for the Krinovs.

Charlene	Pawn	They aren't exactly on friendly terms since Ramona threw her into a wall. Ramona thinks she's got a bit of an attitude on her, but she might be useful if she ever needed to exact revenge on Spencer… how charming is she?
Elisa Vogel (NPC)	Sister	Ramona's living sister, who is now in her 60s. They have no relationship to speak of, though undoubtedly the human woman didn't miss the fact that her sister never quite passed the age of 23.
Ellis	Spencer's friend	Ramona's relationship with Ellis has been nothing but strange. She likes to claim the two are friends, but each encounter with the girl doesn't seem to add up to that — from trying to convince Ellis to crawl into a crypt in a graveyard to kicking her horse, it's not likely the two will be on friendly terms anytime soon.

Esme	Acquaintance	Esme's polite and sweet manner in some ways is actually offensive to Ramona, who enjoys getting a rise out of people. That being said, besides a few conversations here and there, they don't interact much.
Lev	Former coven leader	Once loyal and devoted to Lev, Ramona now views him with bitterness. There are times when she is friendly with him, but she still harbors a lot of anger.
Lilly	Neutral	Ramona liked her enough as a human, but now that she's a vampire and Lev's mate, Ramona views her warily. She's nice enough, but she still can't reason why Lev wanted someone new in the coven.

Spencer	Mate	Originally, she started talking to him only to try and use him as a pawn. It somehow turned into changing him, which leaves the relationship in a comfortable place between obsession, companionship, love, and hate.
Stasia	Enemy	Ramona holds a grudge against Stasia for her way of life and the way she threw Ramona over a cliff… Ramona exacted her revenge by informed the Volturi of Stasia's crime. Shockingly, she /works/ for the Volturi, which makes Ramona all kinds of angry.
Theresa	Stranger	Ramona knows she's Volturi Guard and treads carefully around her. She was rude to Ramona in Volterra and she no doubt holds a grudge.
Virginia	Best Friend	Supposedly, Ginny's her girl, if she were only around more and not off chasing her mate.
